Breeding Quality & Grace

Blue Honey Friesians is a Friesian breeding farm located in the foothills of North Carolina. We began in 2008 with the purchase of our first Friesian, Lyske fan Lutke Peinjum. Since then, we have expanded to housing several mares and their offspring.

It is our goal to ensure and maintain the quality of the Friesian breed while breeding for superior sport horses. We will do this by carefully selecting and matching our mares with the most superior and complimentary stallions. With a strong background and degree in equine genetics, we are dedicated to formulating a breeding program geared to decrease inbreeding and furthermore preserve the Friesian breed for generations to come.

Along with breeding superior bloodlines, we make sure all our Friesians have proper ground manners, are suitable for riding, and implement an excellent and demanding dressage training program.
